Leck Scaffolding was formed in April 2004 by Brothers Adrian and Eamon Barkley.
Adrian had been working in the building industry since 1995 and trained as a scaffolder, Eamon since 1987 as a joiner.
The company started with one scaffolder and one labourer. The first project was erecting scaffolding on houses for a local house builder.
With many years of experience in the building industry the brothers started the business to meet local needs.
Things progressed rapidly and after successfully obtaining a contract with a local builder, followed with another contract from a construction firm.
Over the next few years more staff were employed to sustain the growth and the company introduced a training programme, enrolling all trainees on the CISRS Scaffolders Scheme.
Having enjoyed continued growth and continuing to service the construction industry throughout Northern Ireland, Leck now has strong working relationships with many large clients in Northern Ireland.
Leck Scaffolding takes pride in working to the highest industry standards, with an ongoing commitment to invest in staff training; Leck continues to implement the highest standards of health and safety and has recently employed a full time Health and Safety Officer. |
